Responsibilities: Ø  Verify hardware and software configuration and system integrity by comparing the appropriate operational and functional characteristics with a predetermined or referenced standard. Ø  Validate that the CMDB records document the characteristics of Customer and Infrastructure equipment and meets mandatory requirements to maintain our Service Level Agreements (SLA). Ø  Report all defects and results from testing. Ø  Develop and write test procedures Ø  Develop automated steps Ø  Schedule operational equipment for support services Ø  Continually build knowledge and proficiency in testing methodologies/tools.

Required Skill Set: Ø  3 yrs. experience in command line and manual testing of server and network hardware and software: Windows Server (2K3, 2K8, R2), Linux(RHEL,CentOS), SQL, Apache, Routers, PIX, Switches, LB, EMC, Quantam. Ø  Previous experience developing and documenting test procedures, results criteria and automated steps.  Ø  Experience with PowerShell, UNIX Shell and use of automation tools for testing. Ø  Experience with VMware, vSphere client, Opsware and CLI utilities. Ø  Knowledge of IP, Subnet, VLAN, ACL, HTTP, SSL, SNMP, SSH. Ø  Understanding of functional & technical specifications, documentation and QA processes. Ø  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ø  Ability to consistently perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
