Description
- In this role, the individual will be part of
the engineering team in Data Technology Organization and will be responsible
for development.
- Design and Develop data solutions to help
product and business teams at Paypal to make data driven decisions.
- Lead end-to-end efforts to design, develop
data integration/movement processes, without restricting to traditional ways
and considering all the technologies available at PayPal.
- Interface closely with data infrastructure
and engineering teams to build and extend cross platform ETL and product
development framework
- Work closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master
and Developers to clarify objectives, determine scope, drive consensus,
identify problems and recommend solutions
- Support end users on ad hoc product usage and
be a subject matter expert on Technical side of the product.
Job
Requirements
- 2-5 years of development experience on
ETL/ELT/Shell/Python/Perl/Java.
- 2+years of experience in
Teradata/Informatica/Oracle.
- Should have very good technical problem
solving & debugging skills.
- Should be able to work and handle projects
independently and if required.
- Should be good at data Analysis to come up
with logical conclusions.
- Should have good communication skills, as it
involves regular project discussions & presentations with Client in the
Onsite location.
- Should be ready to take up challenges and new
tasks.
- Should be flexible enough to work in night
shifts if required.
- Good to have knowledge on Hadoop
