Description
Position Overview:
- Quality analyst as part of the program management team to assess the quality of software being released, analyze root cause, suggest corrective action and introduce tools to improve the quality.
Desired Skills:
- 6+ years of R&D experience in mobile application software
- Experience in Quality management (using tools): Defects tracking, analysis, statistics and Root Cause Analysis
- In depth analysis of software requirements.
- Knowledge of complete SDLC.
- Interaction with various teams - development, quality, architecture, marketing
- Understanding of communication protocols (VOIP) would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Involve in product realization from requirements stage to have complete understanding.
- Involve in test strategy, test case review and design discussions.
- Monitor the progress of client software release and verification in the run up to final release.
- Help in defect tracking and error triage.
- Analyze and recommend Go-NoGo for the final release.
- Provide root cause analysis of PRs, categorize issues and suggest corrective action.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools for quality improvement.
