Description

• Individual contributor working in agile development environment
• Closely working in a scrum team to identify test requirements.
• Writing test scenarios, test cases and come up with own set of test data for different test scenarios/cases.
• Creating test environment for functional and regression tests.
• Executing functional as well as regression tests.
• Build and release of tested code to the QA as well as production environment.
• Work on automation project with the team whenever needed.
• Provide support during critical business months.

Conceptual:

• Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing viz. sanity, functional, regression.
• Design & development of Test Scenarios, Test cases, Test data etc.
• Ability to understand requirements and come up with test cases.
• Experience on transaction processing application testing on unix/Linux and scripting languages such as PERL,RUBY, PYTHON.
• Exposure to agile development viz. SCRUM preferred. 
• Work experience on UI & web services automation. 
• Technical Skills:
• Hands on experience with database using PL/SQL.(Sybase Preferred)
• Work experience with Web application/services environments such as web servers, build-deploy etc.
• Knowledge on any version control tool (Subversion preferred).
• Hands on experience in automating server side processes
• Other:
• • Should possess strong verbal/written communication skills.
• • Should work in a team with collaboration. 
• • Ability to work in flexible working hours if needed.
• • Ability to work closely with development team to get the task done.
